Joshua 9-12
In this passage we see in chapter 9 verse 14 that says "...but they did not consult the Lord." This led to the treaty signed by the leaders of Israel. They were tricked. If they had only consulted the Lord they might have had a different outcome. This is an ominous start to what we now know becomes a great downfall among the people of Israel where they fail to consult God. Where in your life do you need to consult God? Don't take another step without taking a few minutes to consult God about your circumstances.
