Nehemiah 11-13
No matter how strong a person's conviction is to follow God, there are times of renewal that are necessary. The people of Judah had sworn to follow the ways of God that were read from the Book of the Law. Yet in just a decade of Nehemiah being back in Persia they had fallen down on all these commitments. They willfully chose to fall back into the ways of their ancestors instead of the ways of God. Have you experienced this type of falling away? If so how did you come back? Hopefully if you are struggling now, you can see the way back to God by being in His Word. Repentance is necessary for everyone, often!
