Day 156

Psalms 19-24

Today’s reading is like reading 4 of the most famous Psalms. First of all you have David’s Psalm where he declares that “some may trust in horses and chariots, but I will trust in the name of the Lord our God!” What an awesome testimony to an amazing trust. Psalms 22 is famous for being where Jesus was pointing people when he said from the cross “My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken mm.” It is my firm belief that he was pointing people to this Psalm. Psalm 23 is famous for being the comfort Psalm. “Ye, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.” Finally, Psalm 24 has two praise songs that are written from its very words. “Give Us Clean Hands” and “Who is This King of Glory?” Both awesome praise songs to God. Definitely a great reading.
