Provers 5-9
The writer of Proverbs personifies Wisdom in the form of a virtuous woman and personifies folly in the form of a prostitute. He talks about being led away to slaughter by the prostitute and led the the glories of God by the virtuous woman. He ends chapter 9 by displaying how the woman names Folly seduces men into her home. How many times are we led astray by the enticements of this world only to discover them to be leading us to destruction.
