Isaiah 44-48
This is a chapter of faith. We read history unfolding before our very eyes. Of course we know that historically the items that are written by Isaiah did occur. Cyrus was used to rebuild the temple. Many critics have tried to make a dividing line in Isaiah and say there were two Isaiah writers. It is my wholehearted belief that there was one Isaiah. He prophesied the future with the power of God. Those who are critics cannot bring themselves to comprehend that God works in this way and knows the future this way. Well, my God is a BIG God and and He knows the future. This should give you hope. He knows your future as well!
