Ezekiel 24-28
Has pride overtaken you? Do you attack people when they are down? Do you think you are above the discipline of the Lord? The many nations that attacked Judah were eventually punished and obliterated. God needed the people to be judged and to be corrected but the evil of the nations that were used to do this judgment was too much for a holy God. Therefore, God punished the nations. You will notice that at the end of chapter 28, God gives the promises once again that he will restore the nation of Israel. God loves you dearly. No matter what you have done he still loves you and desires to restore you. Just like the nation of Israel had defiled themselves immensely and paid dearly for it then God restored them, God wants to restore you. Just turn to him today and repent of your sin.
