Jonah 1-4
The story of Jonah is one of hearing and heeding the word and will of God. We often look at this story and with disdain see Jonah as a failed and flawed character when he runs from this calling on his life. But, I do want us to examine how many times God calls us to participate in his work and we walk away. I wonder how many times I have done that. When God calls you to do something or go some place, don't ignore his call but run boldly towards it.

In December 2008, He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Administration from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeff has been married for 14 years to Melody and has two children.
