Matthew 24-25
I do not quite understand all that God is watching for in us. I know that he wants us to be active in efforts to feed the poor, clothe the naked, and visit those in prison. He also wants us to take care of the orphans and the widows. I also know that he is watching our move in these areas. I also know that when we do these things we are doing them unto Jesus. The confusing part comes in when we discuss our heart motive. Are we meeting people's needs for our good or for theirs. I submit to you that we must be about meeting people's needs but our motive to do so must be more about making Jesus known then ourselves known.
