I have been watching this new show called "Fringe" on Fox. I have not had a favorite TV show since 24 and in the last three years doing my Doctorate I have not had an abundance of free TV watching time. So...I have started watching this new show.
Fringe is based upon the idea that in our world today there could be many different types of science going on that seemed impossible just a few years ago. It is FREAKY!
Last night the show did not conclude with any solving of anything which is always a tough moment. I had the heeby-jeebys. The show throws out all limitations to science such as mind to mind telepathy, genetic decoding, and cloning. It does seem that the show is making the point that of course our government know more then they are letting on, big business is hiding technology that they have developed, and that God has no place in the world of science.
JJ Abrams (Lost) is a good director and this show holds great promise for the future. I just hope I can sleep with the light off tonight cause last night was a little rough.
