The story of Joseph is one that many can relate to. Of course we know the ending of the story so we can look at it as another showing of God's faithfulness, but for a second try to put yourself in Joseph's shoes. He must have felt like everything was working against him. He might have asked God Why? I am sure he struggled with feelings of depression or hopelessness. He was captured and sold by his brothers. Thrown in jail for who knows how long and then forgotten. Certainly we see the end result of these trials but we have to try and identify with the struggle. Try to look at your struggle with eyes that see into the future instead of hopeless eyes that only see right now.

He also earned his Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. In December 2008, He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Administration from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeff has been married for 14 years to Melody and has two children.
