Hope you are doing well and have made it to day 3.
This passage deals with the account of the flood and how God's creation because of sin had turned to evil. God makes a commitment to pour out his wrath on him and yet finds a remnant in Noah and his family. This is a recurring theme throughout the Old Testament that even when God sends discipline upon his people he always leaves a remnant. Thank God for the rainbow but ultimately all of this points to the fact that man cannot be good enough for a holy God and thus Jesus had to come and die for our sins.
Praise God that we don't stand before him without an advocate.
