While in this day's reading we see the fracturing of a society that felt it could become god by building a building to God, we project forward to the day of Pentecost where God counteracted the tower of Babel by having the disciples speak in other languages. In effect what broke apart at Babel was put together at Pentecost. What an awesome God we serve? He sees the problems of man and what tears us apart and through Christ is repairing these things in each one of us. I hope that you are set on letting God speak into you this year through His Word.
