Numbers 13-16
Oh, what a sad day! The people of Israel are led by Moses to the brink of the promised land. They send in 12 spies to view the land and bring back samples of the land. They talk about the fortified cities, the giants, and bring samples of large grape clusters. While the land seemed good to go into, the people are overcome with fear and back away from this promised land. They are punished by wondering in the wilderness for 40 years. I wonder how many of us stand at the brink of what God wants to do in our lives and then shrink back because of the giants in the land.

He also earned his Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. In December 2008, He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Administration from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeff has been married for 14 years to Melody and has two children. He likes to play golf and race triathlons.
