Job 1-3
The book of Job is a very difficult book to read and grasp. Why does so much evil come against this man? His faithfulness is admirable but is this book supposed to explain why bad things happen to good people? Is this book meant o describe for us the conversations that occur in heaven between Satan and God? While we are privy to the conversation we must understand that Job was not. He is only able to see his life and how it is crumbling around him. I wonder how many of us would deal with God the same way if we had been thrust into this position like Job. We are well acquainted with success but I wonder how well acquainted we are with suffering.
