Day 139

Job 8-10

Bildad approaches Job by saying that God is just and mighty and that it must be that Job's sin has caused all of this to happen. Bildad even points out that maybe it was the sin of his children that caused them to die. Job understands the righteousness of God but begs the question as to why he is enduring such hardship if there is no sin in him. Job seems to be searching for reasons as to why this is all happening to him. Have you ever been in Job's spot? Maybe not having lost all he had lost but have you struggled to understand why certain things happen? It really comes down to a trust factor with God. Do you trust His ways? This is difficult.

Tomorrow's reading: Job 11-14
