Isaiah 52-57
Of course we would be remiss if we did not mention the great prophesied passage of Isaiah in chapter 53. He describes in detail what the suffering servant will be like. He nails the story of Jesus. I want to focus on chapter 54-56. God gets right in the face of evil and declares war. God is no longer simply looking at the Hebrew people as his people but anyone who will obey Him. He speaks very negatively of those who mock him in chapter 57. He ultimately says that they can mock him now but they will be judged. If you are in Christ today, praise Him for the suffering servant and for allowing you into his family!
