Amos 1-2
Back at it! We have some real catching up to do before the end of the year but if you have been keeping up to this point then you will easily finish the goal of reading the Bible through in a year. It has already been a good journey and we aren't even to the New Testament yet! Amos is a prophet who boldly spoke against the sinfulness of the surrounding nations and then narrows in like a laser beam onto the people of Judah and Israel. He points out their willingness to make the Nazirites sin and tell the prophets to be quiet. He heralded these sins from the middle of town. Is there sin in your life that you would not want announced in the public square. Then repent of this sin and turn toward God.
