Zechariah 5-6
Once again Zechariah provides for us imagery that is consistent with other end times imagery we read about in Ezekiel and in Revelation. Most importantly he prophecies again about Jesus who will be called the Branch. This powerful sense of hope and expectation lives with the Jews until the Messiah comes. They had to wait several hundred years but he came in the form of Jesus of Nazareth. Are you in expectation of the coming of Jesus the second time? Does it affect your daily walk to know that Jesus could return at any moment? Does it give you an urgency to share the love of Christ with people? I hope it does. Be the Watchman and wait for the King to return.
