Matthew 12-15
Jesus draws a distinct line in these chapters between religious pious actions and deeply spiritual meaningful action. I wonder which actions we are more prone to in our own lives. I would suggest that we are pretty good at religious actions but the other is much more difficult. I challenge you today to begin to ask God to help you find the spiritual disciplines in your own life that are meaningful and get rid of the religious actions that are simply done out of tradition.
