Matthew 8-11
Take up your cross and follow him daily. Wow, these words are harsh and yet glorious. Not that we should be gluttons for punishment, but we should seek to follow Christ and to do that is to identify with his suffering. We do this by considering everything we have to be loss and to consider Christ to be gain. We choose to not seek our wants as much as we choose to seek the wants of Christ. We choose to follow His ways and not our own. These are tough actions and decisions and yet to be considered a true follower of Christ we must take up our cross and follow him daily.
