Matthew 1-4
The Messiah has come. Do you feel the weight of having read the entire Old Testament and realizing that mankind can never follow all of the laws of a Holy God. The effort is hopeless. So God in the person of Jesus, both fully God and fully man, injected himself into history to bring salvation to the imperfect people of this world. If this is your first time to read through the Bible I hope the story has not escaped you. I hope you realize the incredible journey you have been on for these last few months. God's story is one of bringing mankind to himself. Now in the person of Jesus the story takes a dramatic turn. This is when the hero shows up and things are about to get better. I am so glad that Jesus came!

He also earned his Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. In December 2008, He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Administration from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeff has been married for 14 years to Melody and has two children. He likes to play golf and race triathlons.
