Romans 1-3
The first chapter of Romans is an incredible chapter of scripture. Paul lays out for us the reasons why no one has an excuse for missing the existence of God. He notes that creation should tell us that God exists. Secondly, he points out the incredible lengths of sinfulness that man will go to. Thirdly, he speaks of the judgment of God in giving the people over to their sinful ways. Finally he declares that he is not ashamed of the gospel for it is the only thing that saves. If you have a friend who needs to hear the plain and simply gospel have them read Romans 1. Better yet, you read it to them and explain these parts to them.
