Hebrews 1-2
These first two chapters of this incredible book are all about the preeminence of Jesus and how he came as a sacrifice for us. We celebrate his goodness in that though he was God he came low to be lower then the angels for a time so that he could offer a sacrifice for us. God looked down on our condition and noticed that if he was to offer a true sacrifice then he must become human. He did so and the story of Jesus is one of eternal salvation. If you have not today worship Jesus for his coming to earth. We are almost to Christmas and the story of Christmas and Jesus' coming is never more clear then these first two chapters of Hebrews.
