Leviticus 11-15
God certainly knew the problems that people would encounter in a nomadic lifestyle as the Hebrews lived. He was concerned with the outbreak of disease and the onset of mildew or mold in a dwelling. This whole reading today deals with these subjects. It is interesting that the Bubonic Plague was found to have most likely been caused by filthiness amongst the people. God did not want this to happen to his people. He instructs them on the proper diagnoses of skin disease and the proper view of mildew or mold in a dwelling. How many of my Texas and Florida friends know about the danger of mold in a home?
