Still trying to catch up...
Numbers 1-4
Whew, we made it through Leviticus and now on to Numbers. These first four chapters give the numbering of the people and specific instructions on how to move from place to place. Each member of the Levites had a specific job to perform in the manner of the Tabernacle. If they worked together under the leadership of God as priests and performed their duty as they should, then everything would move right along even though I am sure it seemed like a daunting task to move this amazing structure of the Tabernacle. In the church today, we each have a gift that we need to use within the body of Christ. It seems like a daunting task sometimes to reach this world for Christ but if each believer would use his or her spiritual gift then together God can use us in powerful ways.
