II Kings 9-12
This passage is very difficult to read because the incredible amount of killing that goes on. Jehu served God by destroying the family of Ahab and killing all the worshipers of Baal. He followed God in so many ways and yet the Bible says he failed to destroy all the pagan objects. He then turned his heart toward other things and continued to sin. Jehu had done well in one area but failed in others. Do you ever feel this way? Do you feel like you do pretty well in some areas of your Christian walk but in other areas you fail? Today make it a point to follow God in every area of your life.
