I Kings 17-19
This passage is the story of Elijah as he faces off with Ahab and the godless priests of Baal. If this story weren't so tragic it would be funny. At one point Elijah makes fun of the Baal prophets as they try to get their god to respond to them by saying things such as maybe your god is asleep or using the bathroom or on vacation. The powerful part of this story is when Elijah calls down the power of God and all the altar is destroyed. Is God that powerful in your life? I hope you can see His power in what you do and how you live?
