I Kings 20-22
In this very dark remaining portion of I Kings you see how devastating the choices of people have become for the nation of Israel. Ahab's deceit and Jezebel's ruthlessness lead them to kill Naboth and steal his vineyard. It is interesting that they each meet their demise in terrible deaths. There choices to serve other gods led them down paths that were both destructive and painful for the land of Israel. What choices are you making in your life that are leading to destruction? Which ones are leading to good places? I hope we can learn from the example of Ahab of what not to do in our relationship with God.
