Lamentations 1-5
This book, while short, is full of grief over the sins of the people of God. Jeremiah mourns for Jerusalem and asks God to remember them. He notes the promises of God that He will continually be with them even through this time where his anger has been poured out on them. They are a people without a land. Are we truly sorry for our sin? I know sometimes I ask for forgiveness from God so flippantly and without true sorrow. Today spend some time in true grief over your sin and allow God to restore you.

In December 2008, He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Administration from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeff has been married for 14 years to Melody and has two children.
