Haggai 1-2
We have spent the vast majority of these last few months reading about how Judah and Israel had defiled themselves and would be punished by God. Now in Haggai we see their return and the need to rebuild the Temple. The people had started to rebuild it when they first returned but then left the Temple in ruins while they restored their own homes. They neglected the things of God. Have you neglected the things of God? Are you building a career, family, friends, or life based upon what you want rather then what God wants? Begin today to live in accordance with the things of God and see how he will bless you in it.
