Romans 6-8
Now Paul forthrightly proclaims that even though we were sinful and even though some might be deemed righteous we all need a savior. He declares that we have been buried with Christ in baptism and have been raised with him to walk new lives. He warns against allowing sin to overcome ones life. He also instructs the Jewish believers to not allow the Law to supersede their lives of faith in Christ. Paul then gives one of the greatest verses of scripture that we have in Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Hallelujah! We can be considered righteous by no acts of our own but only by the blood of Jesus. Praise the Lord!!!!
