Hebrew 8-10
This is such beautifully written scripture. The idea that God made made a new covenant with those of us on this side of Jesus shows his mercy and his grace. He made a system whereby we trust in the sacrifice and name of Jesus and we receive salvation. We no longer have to return year after year to try and make a sacrifice for those sins. Jesus has saved them once and for all, Hallelujah! Now it is our task to live out this new covenant in relationship to God, for he is coming again. Take heart like the writer explains in 10:35-36, that we must remember to strive on with patient endurance knowing that a great reward is in store for us in eternity. Praise the Lord!
