Hebrews 11-13
The Hall of Faith in chapter 11 is an incredible testimony to the power of God in people's lives. I love how the first part is about Abraham who did not have the law and yet followed God and was deemed righteous. He had a faith in an unknown God. Moses continued this idea a few hundred years later with great amounts of faith through very difficult times. I love how the story turns from great success stories to those who endured torture and death. The author of Hebrews says that these two types of people are the same. They are all faithful to God. In the end God is glorified in these people's lives and in their deaths. Are you being faithful to God with your whole life?
