Day 352

II Peter 1-3

These 3 chapters are filled with the desire for Peter to leave a legacy of faith and an encouragement to stay faithful. Peter was sensing that his time on earth was short. He wanted to make sure that the faith that he had helped to propogate would continue. He assures these believe that his testimony of seeing Jesus do the miraculous things and hearing God's voice are true and reliable. There are people still today who try and disprove these statements and yet the testimony of Peter rings true even these 2,000 years later. Jesus is alive and well and we need to teach and preach this message always!

Tomorrow's reading: I John 1-5
